Postpone Upgrade To Windows 11 To Maintain Updates On Windows 10
As most of you know Windows 11 has hit the market and Microsoft are hard at work pushing you to upgrade. It goes without saying that most will benefit from the upgrade but that doesn't mean the time is right for all to blindly hit the button as see what works; particularly in a corporate setting. Until recently, it was relatively easy to ignore the plea to action this upgrade but unfortunately, Microsoft has chosen to take the harsh stance of delaying important Windows updates by asking the user to upgrade or "stay on Windows 10 for now". It has become apparent that until the user makes a selection regular (and much needed) Windows updates may not continue as expected.
In order to ensure your Windows Updates continue uninterrupted, you are encouraged to open Windows Updates in Settings and select to "stay on Windows 10 for now". Here's what the window looks like for most systems.
